28. Are you currently living with your sponsor?
[]Yes
[]No -> When did your sponsor return to Canada?

What? We're not living together. I've lived in Canada the whole time? I don't understand what it's asking for. In the question above we said we've never lived together.

The form expects that at some point you met, and possibly lived together. I am not sure if you are the sponsor or the applicant.

From your post I gather that you live in Canada so I will presume you are the sponsor. You can just enter the date in which you became a PR/citizen.

Question 27 asks if you have ever lived with your sponsor, you can click No and enter more information and explain your situation. If you need more space simply write or type on an extra piece of paper and at the top write the form name and then write your UCI if you know it, and the question number. Example:

Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire (IMM 5490)
First Name Last Name
UCI
Question 27:
Full answer

Yeah I did that. I said why we've never lived together in question 27. Which is why I don't know what to put for 28. I became a citizen the day I was born, I've never lived anywhere but Canada. So I put the day I was born? Or the day I returned after the wedding? or.. what?

28 is after 24.. The question I'm referring to is question 28. It is after the conjugal/common-law questions. It is in the 'maintaining contact' area.

You are correct, if you are married it says to complete questions 12-19, if you are not married go to question 20. After question 19 (the last married question) it directs you to question 24. Question 28 needs to be completed no matter what your relationship status is.

Yes so what do we put for question 28? It says when did the sponsor return to Canada, but I (the sponsor) have never lived anywhere else?

Just select "No", put the date you sign the form and explain on a separate sheet.

looking back at this question my hubby indicated "No" because i (the sponsor) never lived anywhere but Canda. but we didnt put a date or explain why,
we only ticked off "no"(i firgured that applys to those who have a return date so we left the date part blank) oh no am i to be worried here ???

so now what lol - i hope they dont send my application back - i already had it come back once - OMNG lol
other parts of the application clearly ask the sponsor where do you live so i cant understand this questions. i m thinking even we left the date part blank they can figure it out "the sponsor lives in Canada, there is so much evidence showing where sponsor lives etc, option c, work letter, paystubs, indication from sponsor questions form. smh

what do think Canuck ???

Well that's just it. Like I have no date to put there. Maybe I can Pen in "N/A" beside it?

There's nothing you can do about it now, so don't stress. Most likely, the VO won't care.

As I already stated, just put down a date and explain on a separate sheet. There will be no issue.
