Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi all,

Please read about my situation and your suggestions are highly sought.

Last week I completed all the forms and documents to sponsor my wife, after weeks of hard work and arranging things in order, I was so proud of the final package and confidently sent it via xpresspost.
Yesterday I realized a very silly mistake we made, forgot to write name in native script in question 2 of background declaration.
Now I am worried that they will return my package and it will be wastege of precious time. Please suggest what are my options and what would be the best way to handle this situation.

Hope you can feel my pain.

Thanks

They are not going to know about this mistake,
the best thing is to wait and get the sponsor approval,
it may take between 30 to 45 days,
When your sponsorship is approved you will have
a file number and the file number will help you to send
additional information,
You may want to fill an new form and send to the visa office that
is handling your file.
As I said, best thing to do now is to wait to have a file number
and then sent a new for as additional information,
and a letter explaining the situation.

Good luck

That's a good suggestion, but still there are chances that they might notice the mistake and send the file back, correct?
Can't I just send them new form with cover letter explaining things including my ucid, my name and principal applicant details (although no ucid assigned to her yet) ?

Or will it be too much of work for Mississauga office to find our file and attach new form without file number?

Thanks for help

You can fill in this form again and send it to CIC along with a cover letter explaining the oversight. Ask them to attach the correct updated form to your package. If you do not yet have a file number and only the UCI I would wait until you have a file number, which you would get along with AOR.
