WRONG They will assign a new one when you get AOR.

No you are wrong. I have been getting the same UCI for my study permit, post graduate work permit and PR for the past 13 years...

Every case is different some people actually get a new UCI. some stays the same. So there is no right or wrong just different cases.

I had a UCI from my tourist visa but I forgot because it's not in the tourist visa per se, Will I be in trouble if I forgot to write it?? I left the space in blank because I thought I hadn't a UCI number. I did write obviously all my data of having a tourist visa scanning my tourist visa etc. I just forgot I had a UCI

Hi! I have the same situation. I forgot to put my UCI number, I didn't know that I have it on my visa. What did you do? Did your application returned? Please help
