Hello,

The company I worked in my country gave me a letter - that they can't change - stating that I worked for them for 1 year but they put total hours as 1440 because they understand that a month has 4 weeks (so that's 48 weeks in a year, not 52 as CIC understands).
I worked 6/h a day and they don't put this information on the letter neither.

If I find a document (maybe my contract or an email) that proves that I worked 6h a day will they accept my work experience? Taking into consideration that the letter confirms that I've worked for 1 year (payed internship)

Thanks in advance

I am not an expert on this but my understanding is that they will use what is on the letter. Is there a way to get the additional hours? Short of convincing your company to change the hours, it may not be a great idea to continue with the letter without additional hours.

I've tried everything I can, but they are a big company (Fortune 500) and they claim that they only give one model of letter for this purpose.

What makes me even more angry is that I acrualac worked more than 1560/h. I was in a 6h per day contract but I used to do extra time

I see. What is the likelihood of working a few more hours under that NOC? If you are under the same country, then you should be able to combine hours to make up to 1560. CIC's website states that it does not have to be the same company.

I have other companies that I worked in the same field. But I'm not sure if it's same NOC. Because one was as a marketing MANAGER (not intern) and the other was an internship in another field.

I tried to contact both of them with no success, fho
