foreign worker under implied status LMO to follow

my previous wp expired april 27, I am under an implied status now, i sent my wp appliction (paper) last april 19th indicating in my cover letter that my lmo has been applied already asking cic to hold my application for 2 months and will give them the lmo number once received. Up to this day my employer have not received my lmo yet and we are approaching to the last day of the 2 months holding period we asked to cic (april 19 to june 19). CIC is currently working on paper applicatios received on march 10 so since my application has been sent april 19, it still takes a month for the cic to open my file. my question is, what will happen if the lmo has released after june 19th or even after the cic look for my file for the next few weeks and my lmo has not received yet?

I am in a similar situation now. I am not sure what would CIC do to my work permit application as I applied online and the processing time for online apps is 30 days. It will be 30 days since my work permit application tomorrow and I haven't heard anything from CIC yet. And it's been 9 weeks since I received my LMO application file number but I am still waiting for my LMO decision.

Could you please update here what happened in your case? Please help!
