I am a candidate from Asia , I have seen in visa cases that they prefer people who have traveled more . Even there in a form in immigration section which asks for how many travels were made by me in past 10 years . I have put 4 countries there , in one case I was invited by a multinational company i.e. Cisco to attend a conference in USA however I was unable to make it due to some commitments here . Do you think putting an invitation letter only would make my immigration case a little stronger ?

I think it will not.
First, who told you they had any preferences based on how often you travel? You either pass on 67 points pass mark or not, that's it. As far as I understood the process, the travels form is designed to see what places you visited and what was the purpose so that if there are "hot spots" or suspicious travels, they might initiate an additional security check and ask you to attend a security interview. This what's happened to a friend of mine who had traveled a lot to places where civil wars / conflicts / terrorist actions had been taken place.

thanks for clarification .

Your profile does not get any preferences based upon your travel. However, not mentioning your travels for some countries while mentioning for some others may raise a flag or two.
