For Pakistani Applicants: Are B-Form and Birth Certificate the same?

Greetings everyone,

Please clarify if the B-Form and Birth Certificate are the same for Pakistani applicants? If not, can the B-Form be provided to Canadian Embassy if Birth Certificate is not available? Anyone has provided B-Form during Visa application? Please help.
