Seniors please help on this.

calgari and toronto.

I am mechanical engineer, and looking for job in toronto

Re: For Engineers what is the best City - Qorax pls help

This is based on totally my research so far.

The best place to land for is Toronto. Aince it has large influx of immigrants, it has facilities to support them in settlement. There are organizations that help you settle down faster, assess your degrees, give you forums to exchange notes and opportunities, arrange for internships for Canadian experience. You can be based in Tornoto initially and look for job anywhere till you find one.

Qorax has posted many articles on different places and advantages and disadvantages, lets wait for him to help

any expert comments on the subject.....

Bhavesh,

Getting a 'satisfying' job is not easy. There will be quite a struggle initially, whatever our quals be. Moreover, engineering occupation is a 'regulated' one; and u'll have to take Canadian Certifications to be marketable, as u r already aware.

Towards knowing our job worth & foray, plz check this thread out:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/how-to-succeed-in-the-canadian-job-market-for-a-new-immigrant-t31106.0.html

Towards understanding where to initially go in Canada, u may like to check this thread:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/which-city-to-land-for-new-immigrants-t31291.0.html;msg190154#msg190154

BTW. It is good to be mentally prepared & keep our expectations into the right perspective. However, eventually we will succeed ! Have no qualms about that.

Regards,
Qorax.
