Hi All,

I sent mailto CHC New Deli and enquired about if I can show Prof of Fund as Property, Car, Jewellery by evaluating the same.

And I received reply as Positive.

See below:
Dear Sir/Madam,

"This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

You may get your assest evaluated by Chartered accountant and submit the CA's valuation report as a present proof of funds alongwith other documents.

We trust that this information will be of assistance."

this is what one of the applicant got as a reply from delhi..regarding property!!!!

i hope it will help all the other people who are confused abt POF

Except that for the visa issuance and the "landing" you will require unencumbered funds, no property, gold, cars, diamonds.

Hi,
I have to submit my full documents to CHC, ND. At present, Can I show my assets as proof of fund. If yes, then when I will have to arrange liquid funds

Please advice

Dear PMM,
Kindly clarify further,if i get certified evaluation of my personal car and jewallary(which is equal to required amount of funds) from reputed chartered accountant firm, will this work? that is visa will be stamped on my passport with this evaluation document. (you have written, for the visa issuance and the "landing" you will require unencumbered funds, no property, gold, cars, diamonds.for the visa issuance).Does it mean that visa shall be stamped on my passport on the basis of evaluation. No doubt to me that at the port of entry i will show these funds in form of cash.

The POF at some point must be in liquid fund. Properties are an added advantage but cant cover the need of Liquid money.
