Flying back with old valid visa

Landed October 5th 2015 . Still not got PR Card .
I have a quick question for the forum

I have a Canadian work visa in Indian passport valid till 2017 . I have to go to USA in January 2016 .
Can i fly back with this work visa,even though I am a PR

You should get it before your trip One sure shot way that I know is: Land in US airport close to your place and come back via land transpiration. Even if you don't have PR card its okay. Yesterday my friend forgot his PR card and immigration officer at rainbow bridge said: " Its okay " .
