from which city bhaveshenee... i found that makemytrip tickets are the cheapest. But got to search from the point of departure as it depends on that. Flights from Bangalore to Vancouver (Metro City) is cheaper than flights from Kochi to Vancouver. So check makemytrip.com site.

Delhi and Bombay are the main gateways for east bond international flights. So, if you check the price, Delhi will be the cheapest and then Bombay. For those people taking flights from other sectors in India has to add the domestic fare difference upto Bombay or Delhi. But once the booking is made from Cochin to Toronto via Bombay or Delhi, the difference for domestic rate is not too much, if the domestic flight is handled by same airlines or by an airline which have a mutual arrangement for ticketting. Please check the websites in India for cheap tickets if you want to try online.

I M planning for Toronto (YYZ) and from Mumbai as it is near from my location....

Can anyone suggest the best option please...

I don't know about India, but from the Gulf region BA is the 'cheapest' at this time. Nearly everytime BA offers the lowest fare, and sometime KLM too chips in. As of date BA is the cheapest for Jul-Aug 2010, from this sector.

My friend just landed from Bombay on 10th Mar 2010 to Toronto. He also took the BA : Bombay-London-Toronto [but had booked it thru here -Dubai, before he wound-up & went to India to organise everything].

I booked tickets from an agency in Kerala itself for me, my wife, and my son (Below 2 years) first for April 6, cost 73,000/-; had to extend it since I did not get my Visa yet. Now the current date for traveling is scheduled for May 6. Due to extention, had to pay 8000/- as Travel Agency charges and the difference in tickets that is 850, so a total of 8850/-. I had checked it out with yathra.com and makemytrip.com. Makemytrip.com was showing a bit lower price and I got for almost the price of makemytrip.com.
