Flight dates and dates on forms...do they have to be the same?

In order to complete our PR application, I had to fill in a tentative flight date to Canada. In addition, since we are trying to have a TRV approved while waiting for PR approval, we have to put a flight date on that form too.

My question is: Can we fly earlier, once the TRV is approved, or do all the dates have to match? In addition, do you have to show the flight tickets once we apply for TRV?

No need to show flight tickets at this stage.

For PR and TRV, just write any intended date of travel. This date does not have to be the actual date of traveling. Once you got the visa, you can travel sooner. Hope this help.
