Hello Guys,

I have a few questions. i recently got the email saying i should mail my family's passport. Someone mentioned that it is possible to flagpole at the border but I am not sure i understand what this flgpole really is about. Do I take the email to them with all the documents and they will give me the confirmation of PR or do I need to have the confirmation of PR before they will give me the PR visa. I'm really confused about it. Also, is it faster or easier? Thanks guys.

You need to have the COPR/PR visa in order to flagpole and land to become an official PR. You can't flagpole without the COPR - so you need to submit your passports. No - they won't give you the COPR at the border.
