Here is my original post regarding Flag Pole. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/got-my-work-permit-done-at-the-border-flag-pole-t128160.0.html

I need some further info.

When I gave the US declined letter to the Canadian immigration officer she said (kind of mumbled) why they issues this document or something. And asked me to sit. Now I was worried if that would affect my future entry in the US. US authorities did not stamp anything which says "entry declined" into the passport though.

Can anyone tell me what your "declined entry into US document" mentioned. For my document there was no reason mentioned. Just denied entry. I did not ask the Canadian immigration office about the US declined letter though. Will there be any problem in the future entering into US? I don't have the denied entry document with me. It was taken by the Canadian immigration officer.

No there will not be future problems for US entries.

Ya. Thanks.

Some people in the forum mentioned they have reason for denying written in the document as `due to flag pole`. But for my case nothing was mentioned.

If you are ever asked about it, you can say it was a flagpole.
