Hello all, i heard that Fixed deposit are more secure way of showing proof of money, so this month (September) i transferred the money from my bank account to my fixed deposit account.

I am confused about how should i show the bank certificate. I have few money in my bank account now and large about of money about 15,000 CAD in the fixed deposit. Will it be problem since i have made the fixed deposit recently and its not 3 months old? Should i mention in the bank certificate that the money was in my account before and i have transferred it recently?

Experts please advice.

Thanks

Do the following
1. attach balance confirmation of your bank account (which is current balance without FDR amount)
2. Attach FDR receipt of anything which corroborates the balance.
3. attach the historical statement of your bank account from which the FDR amount was withdrawn showing the amount withdrawn.

This all along with explanation in your cover letter would suffice.

Gud luck

thank you for the advice :)
