Fixed Deposit Query..for Financial support.

Dear Respected Members,

I have some queries regarding finacial support.
Can i show my FD, it's joint with my spouse. The value is CAD 14, 000 and it's maturity date is April 2014, with interest payable at 14%.
I will be applying for Jan intake at Kenya embassy in August last week hopefully.

I am business partner with my spouse and receive salary, pay tax, and even during my studies I will receive my salary.
I have 2 savings account with total of $ 4000 - $ 5000 till now ( joint account)
I have 2 current account at my company name with total always having $ 20, 000.
Assuming my tution fees is $ 14,500...
How can I go about???

Qn:
1. Should I terminate my FD? Or not?
2. How much more I should add in my account ( note that till august I will be keeping my salary, as its joint so even my spouse uses same account)
3. Any more suggestions, will be appreciated.

I think your money is totaling 38000 which is enough for one year tuition + 13000. No need to withdraw FD you can give FD certificate and you can show also joint account statement. If you can keep money in one account with the most transactions it would be good by that way you will not need to show 4 accounts.

Thanks but can I show my company accounts? Because we are total of 3 directors in both companies...
And I have saving joint account having $ 4000 now and by the time il apply it will be $ 6000 after salary. The other savings account is in India having $ 2000. I kept that account cz of the investment I do every year in an HDFC scheme which is expiring after 3 years. Can I keep that investment papers in my visa application.

Yes you can show all your accounts and also investment.
