Hi folks,

I have finally landed in Canada two weeks back in Montreal. I will share a bit my experience so far.
The departure was very emotional but i was strong enough to cope with it. Once on the plane, I could feel i was stepping into a new world a new adventure. The trip was very long and tiring.

Once landed completed the formalities, arrived late in the evening had a 19hrs trip was KO. The next day it was climatic shock, I come from a tropical country, the difference in temperatures was strongly felt. The next day felt sick nothing serious manage to be on track after one day. Slowly getting used to the temperature here, though its not cold, have to adapt.

Then come the homesickness syndrome. I badly felt it, at some point I was thinking to return back. Talked to ppl around, they all said to me it's legitimate, give yourself time. Now am much better am starting to look fwd. The thing that helped me a lot am staying at a friend's place. That was a big boost, he welcomed me and was a much needed support.

2 weeks am here, job prospects seems fair enough. Went to an intw for a big bank. In the coming days will be going to Ottawa for a job intw, if things work i might move there.

So it's all for now folks..more to come
