Hello friends,

Me and my wife are planning to apply for immigration .Iwould appreciate if all you seniors could guide me on the following--

a. Should we apply through a agent or ourselves?Which is more safe of application not being rejected?
b. Is it really possible to get full 16 points in IELTS ?Are there many peple securing full marks ?as our total points come to be 67 only if I get full 16 points or its a risk to file application?
c. Do these agents help ?We discussed with one of them they are insisting on filing but I believe unless I am prepared for IELTS I shuld not apply as these people will charge money and if I lack even a single point they will say they did there job?

Please help?

Thanks

Hi,

You can practice and test your ability to score the highest here:

Regarding agents, I don't have a perfect opinion. If you are not confident yourself, then you should choose a good agent. There are lot of discussions about this topic.

I did application for myself and my wife. It was not a complicated matter for me except very few doubts. Many of the applicants are doing self and seek the help on this forum in case clarifications needed..
Any way, according to my opinion, the choice is yours.

a.) It is upto you to decide agent or yourself. The process itself is explained in detail on cic website and can be done be yourself as many other folks on the forum do, but this is an individual preference
b) It is possible to score 67 points in IELTS. Prepare by attempting some real time tests which are availabe in market. Also look at the following threads for free resources online

c) Agents help by doing some work that you have to do yourself. There is no way any agent can have any influence on any immigration authorities to expedite or get approval for your case.
