is it compulsery to pay first semester fees before applying for visa . . . does it make any big impact on your case . . .is it possible to get visa without paying first semester fees . . .
plzz seniors help me . . .

it will have a good impact on ur case.. so itx good that u submit ur first semester fee..

Then what about the bank statement?
Should I pay 1st semester fee from the same bank account which I am providing as a proof of funds?
Isn't it cause to reduce total required amount in bank statement?

To be honest, it will NOT put any +ve effect on your application. It's up to the VO and the way he finalize things. For some, it will be a good move, for others, it will be an early move with what we say, "Phurti", so go ahead with application, pay your semester fee just before your deadline (like around 10 15 days prior to deadline). You can always fax your documents later to Visa Office to let them know that your case is still alive.

thnx jigzyy . . . . am not a "phurteela" . :P lol thnx for ur very gud ans . . thnx very very much . . it almost cleared my problem

The money that is paid for first semester should have been a part of the bank statement. It's not necessary to show total than. It will be something like this:

Suppose u paid $6500 for first semester.. Total Semester fee was $12500. So, you should have around:
$6000 (remaining fee) + $10000 + $3000 to declare to visa officer (should be 4 months bank statement)

Thank you guys!!

Then I'm gonna apply without paying any semester fee!
N I'm also thinking not to apply with SOP cause there are chances that VO might consider things in negative perspective! Is it advisable that always apply with SOP?
I require bank statement of $28000. But my actual bank statement kept fluctuating between $22000 to $28000. Am I gonna lose my case or still there are some chances?

well paying fee is somethng by which u tell VO tht i have also transferred fee so give me visa :P

i hve heard some ppl in this forum saying that thy have reserved even tickets and sent its details to CHC...

Paying fee meanz tht if u got visa so u'll hve no prob, but f u don't pay and even don not get visa thn u wont have much loss, though that loss is almst around $250 but still after multiplying it to 88 it becomes around 22000PKR...

hope this will help u making ur decision...

Regards

Study Plan or Statement of Purpose is a MUST dood. You can't omit it. It's the best way to convince visa officer about your plans. It may even help you bypass your interview call. So, y not to send it? FedEx or TCS guy will definitely ask for this too when u submit docs!

Guys, the college where I have been selected says that after paying your fees if you ask for a refund, the college will deduct $500 and also the health insurance fees is nonrefundable. So this adds to $1050 and is the Visa is rejected around 1 Lakh Pakistani rupees will be lost. So it's a really big gamble. What do you guys say about this.

BTW I have been selected for Wireless Networking Postgraduate program at George Brown College.

There are certain time limits to that too. You are telling the refund policy of AFTER the classes has been started. You can either deffer it for next semester if Visa is pending OR if rejected, you can ask for FULL refund BEFORE beginning of classes.

It means that if I ask for a refund before the start of classes, my whole fees will be refunded??

It has to be like this.. Please double check with your college.

CORRECTION!!!

Every College/University when sends u a Conditional offer letter gives u a duration of almost 1month and tells u to deposit the mentioned amount within this duration in order to occupy ur seat. failing to to deposit tht amount within the given time frame. you seat will be cancelled and will be offered to another deserving student.

every College/Uni has its own criteria. F u don't get visa they deduct some of the money from your previously deposited money (whether that is full fee paid or just the mentioned amount in conditional offer letter). some Uni/college deduct $200 some 250 and some 500. depends on them...

hope this will clearify.
