Hi,

Greetings! Hope you all are doing well. I am Shojib from Dhaka. I have recently gone through several articles and guidelines, but one thing was not clear to me so far and for which I seek some guidelines.

I have a query regarding this question – “First qualified to practice in this occupation” under NOC 1111 (Financial Auditors and Accountants). As I am an ACCA qualified accountant and have completed my apprenticeship training from an audit firm in my country Bangladesh, starting from 02 August 2015 and ending on 01 November 2019.

During my training apprenticeship with the audit firm, I finished all my ACCA qualification exams on July 2017 (obtained my ACCA membership designation on June 2019) and also BSc in Applied Accounting of Oxford Brookes University (OBU) on March 2018.

Considering the above, what should I enter in the question - "First became qualified to practice in occupation" date in my application as NOC 1111 falls in regulated occupation in Canada?

Please Note: WES evaluated my ACCA qualification and BSc in Accounting as double 4 years bachelors. Do I need to evaluate my ACCA qualification from Canadian professional accountancy body?

Looking forward to kind response from experienced candidates. Thanks in advance.

You can put either June or Nov 2019. It's better to put the date which Is printed in whatever certificate you received.
You don't need to evaluate your acca unless it contributes towards points.

Put whatever, it's not important because you don't need to be licensed to work in accounting unless you're signing the accounts or the financial statements.

You don't need it certified by the CPA to apply for EE.
