Hi everyone!

Actually this is the problem of my friend regarding her marriage. She got married twice with the same person. My question is: Will this affect her application for PR?

Here's the story:

My friend got married in 2001. One of the requirements in applying for a marriage license is a birth certificate. She found out that her birth year is different from what she is used to. She thought she was born in 1974 but according to the record of her birth certificate it was in 1973. But then the wedding pushed through using her new birth certificate ( 1973 ). So automatically, that's what written the MARRIAGE CONTRACT, her birth year was in 1973 which is in contrary to her passport & all her personal details.
After 4 years she's bothered with this discrepancy in her Marriage Contract, she then corrected her birth year from 1973 to 1974. Also she seeks an advice from a priest, the priest told them to remarry inorder to correct the birth year in their Marriage Contract. So in 2005 they decided to remarry without thinking this would lead to another problem.
Problem arise when she came to Canada, one of the requirements in applying for PR is a CENOMAR. Her husband applied for a CENOMAR (ADVISORY ON MARRIAGE ) and there's a record of their first marriage. First thing comes to her mind to make it NULL & VOID but according to NSO ( NATIONAL STATISTICS OFFICE ) THE FIRST MARRIAGE CANNOT BE CHANGED in favor of their second one. If she opts to erase the second marriage, then there's a lot of changes in her personal details... :(

Guyz, what do you think will happen to her papers? Need your comments & reactions...
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!

What country did this happen in, and in this country is not knowing for sure your date of birth a fairly normal thing?
