Hi All,

I am flying to Canada from Mumbai on 11May,2018. Can you please tell me what documents I should be caring with me to show the Immigration officer at the port of entry.

Also, can I show the same documents that I uploaded to cic after receiving my invitation to apply or should I get all of them at the latest date(e.g- Proof of funds : I took it in sept 2017, shall I take that again now?)

I have just 3 days left, expecting a reply soon.

Thank you.

Definitely updated proof of funds should be with you .. Or you can have it in cash but u need to declare if u have more than 10K CAD in cash when you arrive there... Or travel check... Etc... Anyway be prepared to be asked about POF .. I'm reading about several landing experiences where officers there did not ask about it but better be safe ..

As far as I know none of the other documents u needed in your application are necessary during landing . Ur stamped visa and CoPR are the most important

Good idea to have ur documents with u anyway just for your own use...

You can get an updated proof of funds, for your peace of mind. I did not get one and the officer did not ask me for any. The most important docs are your Passport and COPR. You need to have the original copies of all the docs you submitted during the PR application, in case if they want to take a look at it. Don't worry much, it was a straight forward and hassle free process. Also, don't forget to provide a local Canadian address you want the PR card to be delivered to,even if they forget to ask you.
