First entry to Canada

Hello experts,

My parent's visitor visa was recently approved but they are not able to travel at the moment.
Is there a certain time frame they have to land in Canada by or is it that they can enter Canada whenever they want provided that there visa is valid.
I heard that they have to enter within 6 months after getting the visa. Is that correct?

Anytime up to the expiry of the TRV. The 6 month thing is a myth.
