How long is the Medical and Background Check good for?

Medical: 12 months.
Police: 3 months.

Thank you. I have another quick question. I got my Background check back on the 23rd of january. It took a little longer than I thought to get the rest of my stuff together, and I'll be submitting my full app the first week of march. Will I be okay time wise?

as long as CIC receives the record within 90 days if it being ISSUED (not the day you received it - check the issue date on the actual record), then it's usually fine. so that means you have until april for cic to receive it. my record was submitted within days of it expiring, and i never had a request for a new one. of course it's always specific to the visa office/officer handling your file.
