Dear Sir / Madame;

I want to work in canada, if i've already got the employer to applying for. What's my second step, pls advice.

I'm a filipino, working here at Singapore since 2005 and only finish contract this month of April' 2011. May i know if i need to submit my resume to the employer that i found in your job search engine. Pls advice.

I'm working and finish my job here at Singapore (Singapore Airlines Engineering Company) as an Aircraft Cabin Mechanic, upon searching on your job search engine, i found this company looking for technician. Can you assist regarding on this.

Send yr resume to those firms that u are seeking jobs with. But before u do that, be ready mentally for rejections easily cause u are not in Canada.

First, are u a landed immigrant? Do u have PR in Canada yet? If u require work permit to work in Canada, then i can safely tell u that yr chances are very slim in landing a job here. 2ndly, if u are not physically present here to have yr interview, yr chances are almost zero! So be prepared to fly here once there is an interview for u.

In some rare cases, my friend who was a civil engineer from Australia got 3 engineering companies fighting over him in Vancouver. He got a job interview via phone and landed the job immediately in Vancouver.

The crucial factor was that he was introduced to the new company by his Australian boss. He told me he applied for about 4 positions online and got zero response.

Your friend got his job cause he had a reference from his boss in Australia and the important thing is the reference, and of course, the other added advantage is that he has a degree from Australia, which is a commonwealth country qualification, unlike those from India, Pakistan or Middle east which are pretty much useless qualifications here.

As u also mentioned, he got ZERO interviews and response from his online applications from his own resume!
