I am based in India and working as IT professional. My PR will be granted in March 2011 and looking for job in Canada. I understand that applying to job sites is not so fruitful. The best support medium is by having contacts with people who are already working to know internal postings.

Is there a forum where I can send profile to people who are already working in Canada?

Dude you have to do more than having contacts with people who are already working to know internal postings, my first question is why will they recommend you for the position? Do they personally know you? Have they met you, do they know what kind of person you are? Whats stopping them from recommending a canadian citizen who is already here, has the work experience and is a family member

I agree with you but just forwarding the profile for internal job opening wouldn't harm anyone.
