What is the best source of jobs for someone to look at emargrating to Canada.

I have a wide skill set, but have preferences to what I would like todo. Scrolling the Internet seems to give me a huge number of jobs but nothing that accurately forfills my abilities.

I am a fully qualified turner fitter miller, mechanical assembly, hydraulic assembly with experience in training and commissioning with time served in sales department of a international company.

If anyone could help that would be brilliant

Not all jobs in Canada are a path to immigration. If your primary driver is immigration, you'll need to really familiarize yourself with Canada's immigration programs to make sure you understand what jobs will get you there and what jobs won't. Note that each program has its own requirements.

In terms of getting a job in Canada, it is typically very challenging since employers generally prefer to deal with individuals who are already legally entitled to work in Canada. In order for an employer to hire a foreign worker, they must first prove they could not hire a Canadian for the role. This invovles advertising the job for at least a month and also paying a $1K processing fee. They then have to wait 6-20 weeks to hear the results of the assessment (i.e. find out if they will be permitted to hire the foreigner or not). As you can imagine, given what's required, many employers don't want to get involved.

The best place to find a job is either through a reputable job portal (such as monster.com, workopolis or the Canadian Job Bank) or through company web sites directly. Stay away from recruiters or anyone who says they can get you a job in exchange for a fee - these are generally scams.

Depending on your age and country of origin, you may also qualify for a working holiday visa which allows you to move to Canada for a year and work without securing a job offer first. Note that working holiday visas for some countries (e.g. UK) are snapped up extremely quickly each year and are extremely difficult to get. So if you go this route and are from the UK, you'll need a plan B.

Thank you for the help, I'll forces some energy to fully understand the immigration programmes best suited to me
