Finding a Software Testing job in Canada?

Hi All,

I am currently working as a QA lead having nearly 7 years of experience in Software Testing (Manual/Mobile/Automation). I am planning to migrate Canada soon. So i want to know about the job market for Software testers & possibilities to find out a Software testing job in Canada?

Please share your experience on this.

at least 3 of my friends in software testing from India landed in a QA job within a month

chances of getting IT jobs from outside canada are difficult, but u get it in 2-3 months after landing

Oh nice Nilesh , within few months, are your friends into manual or automation testing or both..
Im into manual testing.

The probability is ZERO? Can we not get an interview via Skype or other video conference tool?
Quitting a good job here and burning the savings in search of a job is scary!

You can get the interview but you will need to have your paperwork done in two weeks, and most probably the company won't help you get a work permit.

So while not ZERO it is very, very low.

Quitting a good job here and burning the savings in search of a job is scary!

Why would you quite a good job over there? Doesn't make sense.

You want to look for a new job abroad when you do not have a good alternative in your own country.
