I would like to get information about the innamissibility for financial issues for sponsorship inside Canada. The person being sponsored owes money to the bank in his homeland is this affect the approval to receive work permit and eventually permanent residency in Canada?

Hello, thanks for the response, I’m very worried about it because if they check my credit report in my homeland i owe a lot money from credit cards and loans. What does the officer verify before approving your work permit and permanent residency?

Thanks for the response. What do they check in order to accept your eligibility to become permanent resident in Canada. My sponsorship is inland, I received 2 letters so far from immigration.

First one was saying that my case was received in Mississagua (on date...)

Second was to send the documents to Quebec to obtain the CSQ.

I hope, my concern is also that I sent the application to restore my status i losed it by a mistaken application that I sent to Alberta for study permit and they gave me the right to restore my status in within 90 days, so before the expiration of the 90 days we sent the PR application. Do you think I’ll get a chance to have work permit?

Did you actually apply to restore your status?

Sending PR application (or the OWP application) doesn't do anything to your status.

Well, as the CIC website (WP pilot program) says I sent a restoration application along with the PR application to Mississagua.

But it really concerns me is if CIC verify your credit score, bank account or anything related to financial institutions in my homeland? I have a lot of unpaid debts ( personal reasons) and I’m affraid theyy refuse my case because of this.
