I'm applying for a temporary visa to visit my sibling (who is a permanent resident) in Canada. I'm on a student visa in the US. Based on the given definition of family member my understanding is that I have to say no to the question of whether I have a family member in Canada who is a permanent resident. (Is that correct?)
And there's another question, "Do you have proof of your relationship with the person who is inviting you to Canada?" What would count as proof of your relationship with a sibling?
Also, for the question, "Do you depend on someone for financial support?" Do I have to say yes if I have student loans?
