Does anyone know about how long it takes for your Spousal Sponsorship application to finalize? I have been checking my application online, and it has been stuck on "waiting for final approval" for a little over a month now.

It takes time because they do background checks plus criminal checks on both people plus security checks on the person your sponsoring so they check on interpol,rcmp and with cis
If it says it's complete then it's complete. Some people said theirs say passed after it shows complete. So you might have to wait a bit longer. How long was your background check in process for?
Your background check was only in process for one week?? Are you inland or outland?

Okay I'm inland too. I spoke to them this morning. They told me all they are doing right now is waiting for CBSA and RCMP reports about me. As soon as this is done they will be asking me to do the medical
Ahh I see well hopefully that goes smoothly for you, I did my medical exam prior and I passed, so hopefully I won't have to re do it.
