Hello,
I have a peculiar situation and I would like to get your advice on this issue. I am currently in USA and have applied for a work permit to Canada. From Jan 2019 to May 2019 I was working in City X and from May 2019 to June 2020 I was working in City Y.
However, in City X I was working as a remote employee but my entire team and manager were based out of City Y. I made frequent travel visits to City Y and eventually relocated to City Y. When I explained this to my lawyer, she indicated that in my employment history I should indicate that I was working from Jan 2019 - June 2020 as a single entry based out of City Y. Her rationale was that my work was being "Managed" out of City Y and while I was physically located in City X I should still write my City of employment as City Y. I have two questions
1. Is the above interpretation correct? My lawyer is from a reputed law firm
2. How do I write my personal history when I apply for my PR via express entry?
Please let me know
