Am finalising filling out my application but is having a little problem. Could someone please advise me of how to approach section 7 (c) on the Economic class form. Am the principal applicant. The question is asking if my spouse is proficient in English and if yes I have to send the results of the English test. The problem is that he is English proficient but he didn't sit a English test and is not going to sit the test. How do I answer that question. Should I tick no?

Hi Sugz2005,

Then say No to that question. As per CIC, proficient means if that has taken any english proficiency test like IELTS etc, so that applicant get additional 5 points for spouse's proficiency. So if your points ok, then simply say No.

Good Luck !

Thanks,
Umbarsaria.
