Filing taxes for the first time, do I have to send anything to change marital status?

I recently became a PR.
I've been both married and in Canada for a year.
My partner is a Canadian citizen and changed his marital status with CRA right away when we got married.
My question is, now that I'll be filing taxes for the first time, do I also have to do something to change my status or do they already know that I'm married?

When you file it asks if you recently got married or are married and will ask for your partners social insurance number, marriage date etc (at least all the tools I’ve used do).
Once you submit that will get updated.
