P.S.
I too got admission for fall 2012 in uAlberta in MSc Petroleum. But I wasn't offered fundings though I had secured a supervisor. I was told you won't be eligible for fundings as I am from Mechanical Engineering background

So I then decided to do Masters in my own field (Mechanical) Though my job experience was in Oil and Gas.

Would be great but I may move to Alberta after I graduate and offcourse that is way too far ( i don't have a visa yet and I am planning of moving to Alberta)

I will move there after the completion of my master's degree inshAllah. I have my major in Thermo-fluids and will be researching in the same field. In MSc Petroleum I would be working on Reserviour Engineering.

Just a cup of tea ohhh.... LOL

Deeply sad, that is true,it was a robbery on campus in and around HUB University acting president sent an email to all students.it was really a terrible episode. It does not appear at this time that any of the victims of this tragic incident are university staff or students
