but they email you saying you left out a document
and by december they have your complete set of documents
so my question is
is november my submission date or decemeber

1. We received your application for permanent residence on November 4, 2016.
2. We started processing your application on January 10, 2017.

Because they received my app in November, does my app count at the ones they are trying to complete by December of this year?

Yes. Your application was received in November. The statement on the website says "applications we've received as of December". Yours was received before then.

i think yes
my case was actually filed on november 26th
they asked for a re medical on january 3rd
so in december they were actually going through my husband's part of the case
i could be wrong tho
