Ottawa processing is really new, so there's no track record and thus no real time lines. All we can do is look at Buffalo and hope that Ottawa/LA is somehow close to that.

Ours was transferred June 5th, and it became in process August 10th. So it's looking like two months it just sits there until they pick it up. Like computergeek said, it's still really new so it's up in the air as far as a timeline is concerned.

What do you mean yours became in process? Ours has been in process since March 1, 2012 before it was even transferred. Our interview was waived. I thought we were almost done when Buffalo closed. Is this a whole new phase? Oh no...

As in, our eCAS changed to in process August 10th.

it will almost be like starting over. my medicals expire next week. It's been a year since we applied!

What do you mean by having an officer? How do you tell if your file has been assigned to an officer?

We found out when they saw my husband signed the wrong spot and asked us to re-do that one form. Officer MT

All I know is that the MP's office told us that the file had been transferred from Buffalo, so they found it, but it had not been assigned an officer. I have no idea what that means. Like I said, our file has been "in process" since March 1. I have no idea what happens now. Sorry.
