I am sponsoring my husband who resides in Australia (not a citizen but on a student visa) but is currently on vacation in our home country for another month. An agent recently suggested that we wait for him to get back to Australia before submitting the application because it will save us from being transferred to London Visa Office (which has a huge load and takes 5-6 months to process applications) and we could instead be transferred to Sydney Visa Office in Australia. Can anyone guide me; on what basis are files transferred? Does it depend on PA's country of citizenship or residence? Should we wait a month or submit now?
