File number received, but not saying AoR

Hi guys, I sent my application on Nov 9, 2017, it was delivered on Nov 14, 2017. I received 2 emails from CIC.
1st is confirmation of application received, with file number,
2nd is ask me to link to cic account.

Both of the emails doesn't show acknowledge of receipt, did I do anything wrong? or the confirmation email is the AoR?

Application of receipt is the AOR mail. Look for file number... usually starts from EP

That's the weird part, I do have the file number, EPXXXXXXX, sent from an automated email. but I don't have the AOR mail, nor any physical mails

Yes! this is the AOR mail. The automated mail that carries the file number is what it is called an aOR e-mail
