File number for GCMS notes

Hello
I have applied for PR under PNP category on Aug 18th 2014. I still haven't received the AoR.
I applied for GCMS notes just a week ago using the "privacy act" and today I got this email:

This is to acknowledge receipt of your request submitted pursuant to the Privacy Act, which was received on October 1, 2014, for the following records:

the electronic permanent residence file concerning XXXXXXXX(My Name)

I regret to inform you that we are unable to process your request for the following reason(s):

Please confirm your file number. To obtain your file number, please contact our National Call Centre at 1-888-242‑2100

Please note that we will put your request on hold until we receive the requested information from you. If we have not received your reply by October 31, 2014, we will consider the request abandoned and close our file accordingly.

Please submit the requested information to our office by either mail at the address listed at the top of this letter or by email at ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca.

You are entitled to submit a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) regarding the processing of your request. For additional information on how to submit a complaint, visit the OPC website at www.priv.gc.ca.

I don't have a file no. yet since I haven't received the AoR. But, I still want access to my records to make sure that the eligibility check has been set to "passed" so that I can apply for BOWP.
What's the way out?

So have you contacted National Call centre to obtain your file number ?
