We have submitted our application for permanent residence on 22 February 2021. We have just received a message informing us that the application has been canceled because we did not send the original mariage certificate, only the traduction. We are now being asked to create a New express entry profile, so we back to beginning. Has anyone experienced this situation before and how to proceed? do we have to start all over again? Thanks for your help

If a mandatory document is missing, this typically means that you have to restart the process from scratch by creating a new EE profile, waiting to receive ITA again and then submitting a brand new application.

You can try submitting a case specific inquiry, attaching the missing document and requesting that your application be reopened. There is some chance this may work. But also a significant chance it won't since your application was in fact incomplete.

What is your EE score? Might be better / faster just to re-enter the EE pool and wait for ITA again vs. requesting reconsideration.

Our EE score is 484. You might be rugit. Better to resubmit a new application. Hope it will not take too much time
