Hello all dear friends

We are preparing to send our applications (I am the sponsor) and my common law spouse is the principal applicant (no children no parents etc.)
Are these the total fees as shown in the cic site?

Sponsorship application (per application)$75
Principal applicant$475

Also how much are the medical examination fees? Are these fees standard for all countries?

please confirm if you know!

Thank you all and good luck to all

1040 dolares is the total

yes, you still need to add the Right to Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) which is $490. This can be paid later but you can avoid delays by paying it upfront.

Application Fees are the same irrespective of which country you're applying from.

The medical is different in each country and even different between doctors in the same country
but you pay that fee right to the doctors office.

Wow i knew I was missing something hehehe.
Guess it wont hurt to pay this a little later?

Thank you so much

I didn't pay my RPRF in the beginning and it only delayed my case by 3 weeks... that gave us 5 1/2 months to make sure we could spare another 500 bucks... got letter requesting fee and got PPR 3 weeks later... I rather liked knowing when they ask for the fee as it says on CIC website it is the last step before requesting passport so I had an idea that the PPR was coming. Good Luck!

Its not a problem to pay the other part later.
but like creampop said every case ive heard that had to pay it in the end was delayed 3-4 weeks.

but its up to you :)

Yes, your wife (or you) need to contact the nearest DMP and find out their fees and other requirements, such as photographs.

Hi again LeisaP

Basic Question I forgot to ask

Where and how do pay? We are both in Europe!
