Hi there. I have three questions about paying my fees for my spousal sponsorship application.

1. My wife and I have been working on our application for quite some time, and IRCC has increased the application fees for applications for permanent residence this year. We paid about a year ago for all the fees associated with the application- the right of permanent residence fee, principal applicant processing fee, sponsorship fee and the cost of my biometrics. The total cost has increased by $30- I paid $1,135 and the combined total is now $1,165. How can I pay the difference?

2. I do not have an IMM 5401 payment receipt form (I think). When I paid my fees, I got a single-page receipt with a barcode, the amount paid, some payment details and some reference numbers. Is this the 5401 form, or is this sufficient in my application? Also, the page I do have lists an expiry date of "2209". I take this to mean my payment expires next month. If I submit this week will it be accepted, even if an agent sees it several weeks from now?

3. This page from IRCC indicates that receipts from 2016 on will not be accepted anymore following the fee changes. This can't possibly mean all of my payment is already invalid, right? Only that it isn't sufficient?

Any help on these would be greatly appreciated. I'm very nervous.
