Fees for Outland Spousal Sponsorship

Hi All,

I am new to this community. I am applying for my wife's Outland sponsorship application and about to make the payment for the application. She resides in India and I am in Canada at the moment.

Going through the community it seems like the total fees is around CAD 1040 , but just to be sure if anyone can give me a thread/pointer to the same. Reason why I'm doubtful is because in CIC website, under Family sponsorship it asks if

1) Spouse or Common Law partner in Canada Class
2) Spouse or COmmon Law partner/Dependent Children outside Canada Class


I am not sure whats the difference and which one shall I choose.

1040$ is correct if you are only sponsoring your spouse.

If you are applying inland (which requires both of you to live together in Canada), then choose the one that says: In Canada Class. Otherwise, choose the outside Canada option.
