I was wondering if you guys can share your experiences and impressions about the cities where you are staying because for example i cannot yet decide where am going to reside, thanks

Halifax, NS : Been living here for 8 years now. Very nice summers, winters are bearable, average -5 deg C. Small city. 30 minutes from ocean no matter where you are in Nova Scotia. Lot's of outdoor activities easily accessible. Winter sports not that great - generally not that much snow (especially compared to other places). Cost of living is really low, compared to other bigger cities. Lifestyle is pretty fantastic. Pace is slow and easy going.
NS has higher taxes. Hard to find a high paying job. Not as foreigner friendly as bigger cities like Toronto and Vancouver. Very hard to really integrate into general society, but possible with some effort. Starting a business very difficult. Restaurants are limited and small.
If you can make it in Halifax you can expect to have a pretty good life. Overall a pretty nice place to live and raise a family.
Good luck

How's the education like elementary/high schools there comparing to bigger cities?
Thanks.

The quality of schooling is mainly based on how good the specific teacher is and how smart and non-disruptive the students are in the class.
