Hello All,

My questions are pertaining to both Application (for FSW category) and RPRF fees.

1. Are these fee refundable, if application is rejected and/or PR is not granted?
2. On 'Pay your fees' (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp) page, on selecting country as India, it asks the applicant to pay in INR (INR 24200 for CAD 490). Do we have similar option for application fee as well?
3. Paying both fees (EE Application and RPRF) upfront can help speed up the processing of the application, but question is how much time am I saving here?

Thanks & regards

Dan has answered questions 1 and 3.

For question 2 - As an Indian applicant, there was no option to pay in INR. I used my credit card and was charged (590+490)*2 = 2160 CAD (for 2 applicants).

The current conversion rate as per the bank was applied as well as additional conversion charges. So to answer you question, it does not give you the option to pay in CAD and the website is an illustrative example since the rates fluctuate daily.

With regard to point 3 (since it is subjective) I also do not think it will affect your application much and I paid it upfront. A lot of people received the RPRF request and subsequently the PPR on the same day / same week.

So its up to you to decide.

Well I think, there is an option to pay in INR and that too exactly INR24200 (corresponding to RPRF CAD490). I'm stating so, as seen on this website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?countrySelect=IN&lob=eepr.
Well I may be incorrect as I've not made this payment yet and also can't proceed to make an actual payment before I've submitted my application.

Just as an illustration to you mate.

You can choose to believe otherwise! :)
