Hi There,

My girlfriend and I are trying to process our payment online but it keeps coming up transaction failed. We phoned the bank and they processed it on their end but the canadian government haven't processed it on their end due to the post code ( we live in bermuda) Has anyone experienced the same problem or know who we could contact.

I had the same issue. I called the call centre and asked them about it. They said that I had to use a Canadian information (postal code etc). It does not matter who the credit card belongs to, it just has to be a Canadian billing address. (I also figured out that a US billing address would also work). So perhaps you could use a relatives card otherwise you will have to use a different payment method.
 
Thanks for your response. What is the call centre number? Its unusual that they won't accept foreign cards but we can use a canadian one if needs be.

I am not sure about a US billing address I am in the US with my spouse and tried paying the right of permanent residence fee with our US card which is tied to this address in the States and we got a failed notice. What was interesting was that the bank said it was approved, however after a week we got a reversal on our card
