Recently I got information as "decision made" on my PR application. I got a mail from Delhi Canada Embassy to submit my passports at Delhi Office. Currently I am at USA and it is difficult for me to travel India due to my current assignment at USA. Hence I wish to know do we have any option to submit my passport at USA Canada embassy. Or if there any other option available to us for the same.

hello, also had the same scenario like yours.. our application was processed in Manila VO (Philippines) but we are currently residing here is Singapore as Permanent Residents. I've sent an email to our VO requesting for our passports to be sent to Singapore via VFS instead to Philippines via courier. They have approved my request and sent us an updated PPR email that indicated the process in submitting the passport here in Singapore.

1) As per Passport request email I need to submit passports at VFS office Delhi. I need to know whether I should email to Canada High Commission office to which I was submitting all my previous documents for processing of PR .......or VFS Delhi office.

2) In your case how much time they took to reply your query of submitting passport at Singapore office.

3) I understand your request was not for transfer of your case to Singapore, please confirm

4) How much time Singapore office took for processing your passports for Visa

5) What was next step and where you had your PR interview.

1. We sent the request email to our processing VO which is Manila. I think that's what you should do too.
2. An officer from Manila VO has phoned me the following day that I've sent the email request.
3. I only requested for our passport to be submitted in Singapore via VFS for the VISA stamping purposes only. Also, the officer from Manila VO has confirmed that the VISA approval will still be coming from them, only the printing and stamping will be done here in Singapore.
4. Less than a month.. 26 days to be exact. If it was processed in Manila, it could take until 3 months.
5. No interview was required from us. After we received our passports with VISAs, the next step is to prepare for our move to Canada (also book a flight going there ofcourse.. )

My situation is similar as well. I emailed New Delhi on 13th May.

My situation is similar and I requested Delhi Embassy through email for only Visa printing at New York Canada Embassy. They replied in 8 days and it was allowed. I had to courier my passports to New York alongwith Delhi Embassy advise. It took 5 days time to get back our passports with Visa stamped. This process is very quick and no issues.

Guys!!

I want to change my email id for some personal reason. But now i am waiting for PPR.
Is it possible if i raise CSE or send an Email to CHC to change email id immediately?
Will they change immediately or it will take time?

At this point of time you should not change your email unless it is unavoidable if u still wish to do so go for both options as u mentioned in your query
