Hello.
Iam looking for some feedback for my situation.
Recently i found out that that my foreign experience wont add up full 1 year so instead of counted 477 crs i will only have 439.
Right now iam about to apply for LMIA as cabinet maker - 7272
And i was planing to apply for PR after few monts on LMIA (then i will have 2 years full time in this job)
But my score will be too low, so my lawyer suggested that i look into Federal skilled trade, that i should be eligible for this program and that it has lower crs draws. In my case i would be opting for second draw (october)
My crs - bachelor degree, 25 years old, clb 7, job offer and 2 years of experience in canada in 7272.
My question is, even when i see iam eligible, iam wondering about this
My degree and all my experience (little less than 1 year) from Czech Republic is in mechanical engineering. When i came to Canada, i started working as csbinet maker but i dont have any background for it on my resume.
Could someone tell me, how do you thin IRCC will review this ? And do i even have a shot for PR ?
Btw i learned this trade thanks to, that my father is cabinetmaker by trade and he has big workshop at home, so i learned it over the years when i was helping him with personal projects, thats also why my canadian employer considered giving me the job.
Reason why iam seeking any feedback for this, is that if i didnt have real chance for getting PR approved, i would not go for LMIA
Thank you for your time, ill appreciate any help
Martin
