Hi Admin and other experts,

I got my SINP back in February 2014 and I applied Federal PR in march 2014.
I am still waiting for passport request for PR but I am going to India this month .I have to quit from my current job. Will this affect my federal PR because I would not be employed until I return back from India .

Please give your expert advice.
Thanks inadvance

You need to stay in your job until you have PR - otherwise the nomination is no longer valid.

Hi sidhu.shashi787

IF you got your nomination through that employer and you quit ,usually employer will inform the provincial nominee office as you are no longer employed with them

Then someone from your nomination office will contact you for further review (same time your nominating province will contact cic and tell them to hold file for usually 30 days ,as SINP need further review)

So if you don't have any good reason for them, usually they will withdraw that nomination-then your fedaral appliaction will be rejected)

They may maintain nomination in cases like ,if you are applied for Bridging open permit and you don't have any plans to leave nominating province, plus you have job offers from same skilled level, and you have good reason to leave your previous employer etc

its too complicated ,so like scylla said you need to stay in your job..other wise they will withdraw your nomination
